John Chausmer developed a fascination with snakes at an early age. He began his career in herpetology at age 6 alongside his father, who encouraged the hobby. He told his mother his first baby boa would only grow to around four feet long, but it ended up being over nine feet in length. He tried to explain to her that size doesn’t matter.
Moving out on his own at the age of 18, John began breeding snakes immediately. He traveled to reptile shows once a month, talking to breeders and learning as much as he could about the business. As Google wasn’t around in those days, finding information required a lot of legwork.
John’s first snake, a ball python, cost him $5000 in those days. The business has certainly changed since then and John Chausmer Reptiles has kept up with it every step of the way. We continue to bring you the finest quality reptiles at competitive prices, innovating with the latest equipment and breeding practices as we go.
We guarantee every animal we deliver and your 100% satisfaction is our top priority.
